F1 IN SCHOOLS

PT| O F1 in Schools foi realizado pela primeira vez em 1999, no Reino Unido. O objetivo deste desafio pedagógico é o de apresentar aos jovens a engenharia num ambiente mais divertido. A competição realiza-se anualmente a nível mundial para jovens entre os 11 e os 19 anos, que são desafiados a desenhar e modelar um carro de F1 em miniatura. A equipa que representar o seu país na competição mundial teve que vencer dezenas de outras na fase regional e nacional em diversas provas como Engenharia, Marketing e Gestão de Projeto, “Pit Display”, bem como em provas de velocidade onde se testa o desempenho dos carros. Este ano será com muito orgulho que iremos representar Portugal no Campeonato Mundial F1 in Schools!

EN| F1 in Schools was first held in 1999 in the UK. The aim of this educational challenge is to introduce young people to engineering in a more fun environment. The competition is held annually worldwide for young people, aged between 11 and 19, who are challenged to design and model a miniature F1 car. The team representing its country in the world competition had to beat dozens of others in the regional and national finals in several challenges such as Engineering, Marketing and Project Management, "Pit Display", as well as in races in which the performance of the cars is tested. This year we will proudly represent Portugal in the F1 in Schools World Championship! Support the RocKet team!
